AST designed and built a 70′ X 30′ exhibit for the PGA show in Orlando. The booth featured exhibits that highlighted the Liquidmetal Golf products being offered as well as some of the aerospace and military applications of the underlying technology. Central to the exhibit was a meeting/sales area with screenless video projections. The product display areas as well as a putting green were placed under arches formed by laminar flow fountains. The fountains proved to be very popular and drew a lot of visitors into the exhibit.
- The highlight of AST’s design was a series of fountains that launched streams of water over a putting green.
- Traditional elements of trade show kiosks, like this desk, were updated and given a modern appearance.
- Guests could choose a club and hit the putting green beneath the arching streams of water overhead.
- Interactive audio visual technology was also included in the design.
- Liquidmetal came to AST to design a trade show booth for a local PGA event in 2001.
