AST Exhibits to fabricate, install custom display cases for the Wilton Manors Gallery for Stonewall National Museum & Archives
July 2014- AST Exhibits of Orlando, Fla., will fabricate and install custom-designed artifact cases for Stonewall National Museum & Archives’ McNaught-Struble exhibit.
“Stonewall Museum has an exciting opportunity to design the Wilton Manors Gallery space with the specific needs of its exhibition and meeting space in mind,”said Chuck Ross, Chief Curator of Stonewall National Museum & Archives.
The collection of rare letters, books and political artifacts will be displayed in the Wilton Manors Gallery in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., beginning September 2014.
“Stonewall is excited to partner with AST Exhibits on creating a home for our important Brian McNaught/Ray Struble LGBT Historic Collection,” said Executive Director David Jobin. “The value of the items in the collection necessitated us to identify a display creator who understood our needs and could then effectively design and build the cases for our new gallery. We are fortunate that as we began to look for a partner, AST’s name and reputation were echoed by our peers and peer organizations. The entire process has been seamless.”
